Men's Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry at Shenandoah Assembly of God Church is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and support among men of all ages. Meeting monthly, we provide a space for men to strengthen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another in their walk with Christ. Join us for inspiring discussions, prayer, and activities that help us grow stronger together in our faith journey.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”

— 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV)

Women's Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry at Shenandoah Assembly of God Church is a nurturing community where women come together to grow in faith, wisdom, and kindness. Meeting monthly, we create a space for meaningful discussions, prayer, and support, empowering each other to embrace our God-given identity and purpose. Join us as we journey together, cultivating a spirit of love, encouragement, and strength in Christ.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

— Proverbs 31:26 (ESV)

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry is a vibrant community where young people are encouraged to grow in faith and leadership. With dynamic meetings that vary each month, we provide a space for teenagers to connect, learn, and worship together. Through engaging discussions, fun activities, and meaningful relationships, we empower our youth to live out their faith boldly and make a positive impact in their schools and communities. Come join us as we journey together in discovering God’s purpose for our lives!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”

— 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)

Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is a welcoming place where kids from nursery through age 12 gather every Sunday for engaging Sunday school classes. We prioritize safety with our child check-in system. Throughout the year, we organize fun events like Easter celebrations, Vacation Bible School, and our Fall Harvest Party. One of our highlights is our annual Christmas play, where children have special roles to act out. It’s a joyous opportunity for them to grow in faith and friendship.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'”

— Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

Helping Hands Ministry

Helping Hands Ministry aims to reflect God’s love by serving others. This ministry delivers meals every other Wednesday to those who are sick or confined at home. The team consists of three rotating groups who work on preparing food each month to serve an average of 28-30 people. In addition, a different three groups of church members deliver the meals within Shenandoah and the surrounding area. Members of our congregation help by donating salads and/or desserts. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact and spread God’s love to those in need.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

— Matthew 25:35 (NIV)

Health & Fitness Ministry

As Christians, we focus on our spiritual walk with God, but neglect the fact that our bodies are His temple. We worship and glorify God when we workout, eat the foods that He has given us, and take care of our bodies. We can’t accomplish everything that God has for us if we aren’t willing to surrender to Him in every aspect of our lives.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

— I Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)
