Scripture: “Then he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live? ” I replied, “Lord God, only you know.” He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live. I will put tendons on you, make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you so that you come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭6‬

Reflection: Springtime is almost here. I know I am so happy for the warmth to return, and seeing the buds on the trees and flowers starting to bloom. The season always makes me think of revival. Re-creation. Re-birth. Life coming back where it once felt lost.

Everything that has been dead, dry, brittle, and withered…is being made alive again.

So if you feel like you’ve been in a valley of dry bones…feeling dry, withered, and not full of life—dry bones come alive!

This is the season of new beginnings and new creation. It is time to plant seeds of Jesus deep in the soil of your heart…and trust The Gardener to water, grow, and bring them into full bloom.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, just like in the valley of dry bones, You see the places that have grown dry. But You are the God who speaks life where there is none. When I feel dry, weary, and empty, breathe Your life into me again. Speak to every dead place in my heart and call it back to life. Restore what feels broken, renew my spirit, and fill me with Your breath. Just as those bones stood up as a great army, let my life rise with purpose—to glorify You, to walk in Your calling, and to live fully alive. In Jesus name, Amen.
