Scripture: “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42
Reflection: Jesus poured His heart out to God, seeking an alternative to the suffering He was about to endure, while remaining committed to fulfilling His Fathers will. He demonstrated the power of surrender, showing us even in the darkest moments, we can still trust in the goodness and sovereignty of God. May we draw inspiration from Jesus’ unwavering trust and obedience, even in the face of uncertainty and confidently walk in the knowledge that God’s plan is always for our highest good.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that you would help me to surrender my will to Yours. Help me to trust in your plan for my life, even when it may be difficult or uncomfortable. Give me the strength to endure any trials or challenges that may come my way, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
