Scripture: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 107:1

Reflection:  As we step into the holiday season, we often become busy running around like chickens with our heads cut off (or should I say turkeys?) Let us not forget to pause and reflect on the profound blessings in our lives. May we take a moment to come before the Lord with hearts overflowing with gratitude and thanksgiving for His boundless goodness, His unwavering love, and His everlasting mercy. As we share with one another the things that fill our hearts with thanks, such as family, friends, and health, let us also rejoice with thanksgiving for the precious gift of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ, a gift that transcends all earthly blessings.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You with a grateful heart to thank You for all of Your blessings. Thank You for the blessing of family and friends, and for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for providing me the things I need, for Your unwavering love, and for the joy and peace You give. I ask You to continue to bless and keep me, and guide me as I give thanks to You, to always honor You and to always remember Your goodness. In Jesus Name, Amen.
